The origins of the Florida Radiation Oncology Group (FROG) stretch back to 1957, when our senior partner, Dr. Walter P. Scott (top right), first began treating cancer patients. Along with Dr. B.T. Paryani (lower right), he later oversaw the creation of the Edna & Charles Williams Cancer Center at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville.
This center today serves as a key division of the Baptist Cancer Institute. As FROG has grown over the years, our patient-friendly network of Radiation Oncology facilities has expanded throughout northern Florida.
These centers provide a broad range of services including:
consultation and radiation treatment planning
- external beam therapy
- brachytherapy
- stereotactic radiotherapy
- therapeutic radioisotope administration
- research protocol administration
- and, ongoing care and follow up for adult and pediatric patients with a variety of malignant and non-malignant conditions.
Our centers feature the latest equipment and state-of-the-art technology to provide these premier services.
