Opened in 2006, the Baptist Medical Center-South is a revolutionary medical complex and space reflecting the latest in design thinking and medical technology. The hospital was one of the first five truly “paperless” hospitals in the United States, and has received numerous awards.

Located in the southern portion of Duval County, the hospital is situated in one of the fastest growing areas in the North Florida region. Our cancer center opened along with the new hospital facility, in the adjacent Scott/Paryani Medical Office Building.

The fully equipped Varian 2300EX Linear Accelerator is equipped to handle complex treatment techniques including IMRT, IGRT, and respiratory gating. An active prostate cancer seed implantation program complements the clinic at this campus.
