Larry Habelson Wilf, M.D.

Larry Habelson Wilf, MD was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 17, 1956. He attended Haverford College, graduating Cum Laude in 1978 with a major in Economics and a minor in Chemistry. He received his medical education at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1982, and went on to complete his residency in diagnostic radiology at Bryn Mawr Hospital.

After completion of his residency, Dr. Wilf earned a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital. He became board certified in Nuclear Medicine in 1987.

After moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1987, Dr. Wilf held a staff position at the University of Florida Health Science Center as Director of Nuclear Medicine. From 1988-1996, he held the position as Director of Nuclear Medicine & Diagnostic Radiology at the same facility. Between 1996 and 2004, Dr. Wilf worked as Medical Director & Chief Radiologist for six outpatient imaging centers. In 2003, he was also the Medical Director & Chief Radiologist for National PET Scan—Duval.

In 2004, Dr. Wilf joined the Florida Radiation Oncology Group as Medical Director of the PET/CT Center of North Florida. In this capacity he has helped develop one of the most comprehensive clinical PET programs in the country, has published and presented data at national conferences, and has been actively involved with national research efforts involving PET. He is a member of the Duval & Clay County Medical Societies, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the Academy of Molecular Imaging, and the Institute of Molecular Technology.

Dr. Wilf enjoys spending time with his wife & two sons, traveling, and participating in sports. The family is active in community and philanthropic activities.
