Michael D. Pentaleri, M.D.
Dr. Michael Pentaleri was born in Denville, New Jersey. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA where he graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry in 1987. He received his medical education at U.M.D.N.J. New Jersey Medical School in Newark, sponsored on an Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship (Navy). He graduated in 1991 with Honors and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Following medical school, Dr. Pentaleri completed internship in Internal Medicine at Naval Medical Center, San Diego. He served two years as a General Medical Officer with the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton, California, and then returned to Naval Medical Center San Diego to complete his residency in Diagnostic Radiology. He was board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1998.

Michael was transferred to Pensacola, Florida where he completed his Navy obligation as a Staff Radiologist and Department Head at Naval Hospital Pensacola. Following one year in private practice in Pensacola, he moved to Jacksonville in 2001. He worked in outpatient imaging from 2001 to 2005. In 2006, Dr. Pentaleri joined the Florida Radiation Oncology Group as a Diagnostic Radiologist and Oncologic Imager. He is a member of the American College of Radiology (ACR), American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), and The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

Dr. Pentaleri enjoys competitive sailing, wakeboarding and traveling with his wife and 3 children.
