In either case, a team of professionals will carefully assess your condition and review your personal medical history to determine if Gamma Knife treatment is right for your needs. They will recommend and arrange any testing that may be needed prior to coming to the Institute for treatment. Tests may include brain imaging, brain function studies and blood work, along with a physical examination. Together, this information will help us map out the best possible plan for the most effective treatment. Your personal doctor will be an important part of your treatment and will be kept updated every step of the way. In fact, your doctor will provide any necessary follow-up care.
